The Arboretum Summer Camp will be a fun venue for kids to learn about native plants, vegetable gardening, and urban wildlife.

Read about the talented guides who will be hosting the UW Botanic Gardens’ Arboretum Summer Camp. The UW has assembled a  team of top-notch environmental educators to run the day camp, which takes place over a three-week period in July. The camp is divided into three week-long sections, each with its own theme: Native Plants & People (July 11 to 15), Little Green Thumbs (July 18 to 22), and Arboretum Detectives (July 25 to 29). It’s designed for kids aged 6 through 12, and costs $250 per week. Children and grandchildren of Arboretum Foundation members receive a 15 percent discount!
