The theme of this year’s Northwest Flower & Garden Show (February 5 to 9 at the Washington State Convention Center) is “Art in Bloom.” All 23 show gardens will explore the use of art and different aesthetics in the home garden. We’re very excited for you to see the Arboretum’s display, The Garden of Artful Delight, which pays homage to the art and home/studio garden of renowned Seattle glass artist Ginny Ruffner. The display will feature plants and artworks from Ginny’s whimsical garden in Ballard plus new, original artwork created by Ginny for the display during a special artist-in-residency program at the Museum of Glass, Tacoma, in early January.
