Looking to add some pizzazz to your home garden? In the latest issue of the Arboretum Bulletin, landscape designer Janine Anderson profiles 15 beautiful shrubs and trees from the Arboretum’s iconic Pacific Connections Garden that would look fabulous in your own backyard.
She selects three of her favorite plants from each of the five eco-geographic regions represented in garden: Cascadia, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, and China. They include Hydrangea aspera, a Chinese native, pictured above blooming in late summer in the China Entry Garden.
