Attention Arboretum visitors and local commuters! A section of Lake Washington Boulevard in the Arboretum will be closed each day from 9am to 3pm, on Tuesday, April 1 through Thursday, April 3.
The closure is needed in order for horticulture staff to perform long-deferred maintenance along and above the road, including the removal of a few hazard trees.
The closure will affect the Boulevard from Boyer Avenue north to Foster Island Road (see map below). During the closure times, vehicles coming from the south end will detour up Boyer to 24th/Montlake Boulevard. The Graham Visitors Center can be accessed by car from the north end. Only local traffic to Broadmoor and the Arboretum will be allowed to come through on Foster Island Road.
The Boulevard will re-open each day at 3pm and close again at 9am the following morning. Thank you for your patience!
